A new class is on the horizon! In this class we will be revisiting some of my original techniques taught in the Textured Patina Class and building on them with a subtle whimisical harlequin design with Old World rustic charm and decoupaged embellishment. So many of the techniques and design aspects on this one piece can be used all on their own!
If Whimsy and texture are not your thing, I’ve got something for you too… on our second piece we will be simplifying our design with subtle blending in a neutral and earthy color pallet and finish with lime wash. In keeping with my own personal style, this piece will have it’s own unique rustic appeal.
For the classes third and final piece we will return to our love of texture with a pottery inspired piece featuring a raised stencil.
When teaching these classes it is always important to me that I inspire you to think outside of the box and find own personal style, to take inspiration from unexpected places and apply them to your furniture design. This class will arm you with the tools and knowledge to create multiple finishes.
Class will begin March 27 and last approximately 3-4 weeks allowing plenty of time to completele each project start to finish. In an effort to allow everyone the opportunity to watch me live I will be alternating class times… Monday and Wednesday lives will take place in the evenings at 6pm. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday Lives will start at 11am. Of course if you are unable to watch Live, the replay will be available for viewing indefinitely.
Class will take place within a private Facebook group. Once you are registered an email with the group link will be sent inviting you to join. Each individual email is physically sent by me and in some cases may take time. If you have not recieved your invite within 24 hours, please contact me.
Please note that some repetitive processes may be completed off camera or pre-prepped making it easier for replay and locating content. I will briefly go over my prep process for each piece, however this class is focused on technique.
